The owner, a native of Thailand, has created a signature style of floral arrangements that has rendered recipients speechless at times, and other times in awe. Our mixture of bright, bold colors with a touch of wild flair is our signature arrangement style. Although this style has made Lotus Designs famous in the South End, we also help our customers express themselves by choosing flowers to match their sense of style and personality. We pride ourselves with having only quality flowers.
We first opened our doors in 1995, just 2 blocks north of our current address. With a small space, a big heart and a brilliant smile, Lotus Designs made its mark in the South End. Everyone knows when Lotus Designs is open because our store display has lots of bold and beautiful fresh cut flowers and seasonal plants out front and along the sidewalk. You especially can't help but notice in the Spring and Summer, the unique colors and the different flowers outside. Once you step inside, you are embraced by the scent of flowers from all different parts of the world.
Our staff welcomes our customers and treats them like family, offering a warm, homey environment with soothing background music. Our motto is "Your Personal Florist," which is how we want all our customers to think of us. Our flowers are messengers to our customers and guests, each having their own special language of happiness, friendship and love. As Jimmie always says: "Choose flowers that talk to you!"

All requests for delivered flowers must be paid prior to delivery.
Lotus Designs offers a broad delivery vicinity inside and outside of Metropolitan Boston. Please click here for the town you would like to send your arrangement. Same day delivery requests should be received by 1pm
Please note that if you do not see your town or city listed, it does not necessarily suggest that we do not provide services to those areas. For other locations not listed, please contact the store for a price. If we do not service your area, we do provide a wire-out service to accommodate other neighborhoods.
Delivery Fees:
The purchase minimum for delivery orders is $60.00. All orders are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax and a delivery fee. You may request information about the delivery price when ordering your arrangement.
Delivery Service:
In order to provide quality service, our deliveries to corporate locations are completed between 9:00a.m. and 5:00p.m., unless otherwise specified by person(s) ordering. All deliveries to residential areas are completed during store hours (see store hours). The recipient of a residential delivery will receive a call to affirm a delivery time, unless sender specifies an alternative delivery option, such as a concierge, or a safe place to leave on locale, etc.
Delivery for Special Events:
Large functions such as weddings and commitment ceremonies are not exclusive to these delivery locations. Lotus Designs has accommodated for weddings and other special events all over the new England area. Additional transportation costs may incur depending on the necessary travel distance. Please call the store for more information.
We accept: cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, check with 2 forms of identification: a photo ID and a major credit card. Check transactions must be paid in person unless pre-authorized by management. Lotus Designs does not offer C.O.D. (Cash on delivery) as an option.
Purchase Procedure
Price quotes are for flower arrangements and special orders only. In addtion to the cost of the flowers, there is a Massachusetts sales tax of 6.25%, and a delivery fee.
Wire- Out Orders
This service is provided to our patrons who would like to send flowers outside of our immediate service areas. This encompasses the U.S. and Canada. Minimum of $75.00 and a fee of $10 applies. We do international orders when requested in advance.

Your wedding is one of the greatest occasions in your life, and our staff is dedicated to helping make your wedding just the way you envisioned it. From simple to extravagant, from the smallest to the grandest, and everything in between, we will work with you and guide you with our expertise in floral styles, specific flowers for various seasons, types of containers, candelabras, lighting, linens, and chairs. We cater to all types of unions, whether civil or religious. We can provide chuppahs for Jewish ceremonies, and help arrange for rented items of all kinds.
A flower for every occasion
When ordering arrangements with Lotus Designs, you can be very specific about your floral preferences, or you can just leave it up to our designers. For our arrangements, we only use quality flowers like bold-colored gerbera daisies and fragrant lilies. Our arrangements are availble for all different occasions. Every arrangement is an expression of your personality and style. Imagine elegant and sophisticated with calla lilies and hydrangeas in an all-white theme, or bright, bold and exotic with colorful birds-of-paradise and spiked proteas, or soft pastels with light purple stocks and pale pink sweet peas. All flowers below are seasonal and subject to availability.
